1. DON’T USE DOUCHE

Don’t be carried away by adverts on social media, the vagina cleanses itself and it does it pretty cool, water is enough. 2. THE PUBIC HAIR SAVES SOME RISK
Let’s not forget the pubic hair has a vital role it plays down there, it protects you from some external bacteria. It’s okay to do a bit of trimming or removing hair, but don’t forget the hairs keep you safe. The last time I checked there is no help benefit attached to shaving the pubic hair. Just that it looks neat, I personally love it. But always remember it saves a lot keeping the hairs especially for those who get some reactions after shaving, study your body, know what works then do what works. Lesser hair removal means lesser itch. It is medically advisable not to clear all hairs
3. KEEP A URINE TISSUE HANDY:
It’s so disheartening to see a young lady visit the rest room and rush out without cleaning up properly, you should always have a urine tissue (either the pocket-sized tissue or you get the usual size). Don’t always bank on finding one in the restroom besides how hygienic can a public tissue be, you never know how the last user handled it, maybe the last user mistakenly drop it on the floor and there you are cleaning your vagina without removing the first row of the tissue. 4. MINIMIZE WASHING YOUR VAGINA WITH SOAPS
Water is and will always remain the most trusted liquid to wash your vulva with. If you are fond of using soap and some intimate wash vagina, Please be sure to use natural products and avoid high scented soaps, medicated soaps and beauty soaps. Always consider PH level balance before using any product on your V. Be mindful of the amount of organic and inorganic products we pour down there. Trust me water is a better product. Wash with water as often as possible and allow some fresh air down there.
5. DO AWAY WITH OLD UNDER WEARS
Oh gush, almost everyone is a victim here. A lady once asked me; how do I dispose old pants? Do you have to burn them or what? It is understandable. Burning is not a bad one if you can else you cut them with scissors and dispose them with other household waste. Replace your underwear’s often, you shouldn’t wear them for more than 6 months, it’s best to change them every 3 months and do not wear new underwear’s without washing them, even if the underwear is packed and sealed, wash before wearing. You don’t want to find yourself treating infection because of few minutes wash you overlooked. Do give your Vagina a treat, get some new panties. Do be a victim of reserving the new ones for occasions, why you keep wearing the old ones at home, Lol it makes no difference.
6. WEAR CLEAN UNDIES
Practice clean habits, change your panties as often as you can daily. Don’t use too much detergent to wash your underwear’s and endeavor to rinse it properly. Don’t be that girl that washes her underwear alongside other clothes, then rinse them together, your vagina deserves better baby. Dirty undies make you susceptible to infections.
7. DON’T WEAR TAMPON FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME
Avoid using a tampon for a long period of time, you should change it every 4 to 6 hours, at most 8 hours.
8. WEAR CLEAN TROUSERS IF YOU MUST WEAR THEM WITHOUT PANTIES
If you are following the no underwear trend, ensure that your trousers are clean before putting them on.
9. EAT HEALTHY
A healthy diet promotes a healthy vagina. The vagina needs some natural bacteria to stay healthy. Probiotic foods like yogurt and cheese and prebiotic foods like raw onions and leeks are important for maintaining these good bacteria. Yogurt is good for the vagina, it contains bacteria that help to promote vagina health. Eat healthy meals, more fruits, more vegetables, and more water
10. KEEP YOUR TOWEL CLEAN
Wash your towel before you even notice dirt on it. Dirt’s cling to towels easily and constant reuse puts you at risk of infection.
11. PRACTICE SAFE SEX
If you must have sex then practice safe sex, even with sex toys. In the heat of the moment, don’t forget good hygiene. Insist on using condoms with new partners and go for regular checkups, if you are having unprotected sex. Your vagina doesn’t deserve to suffer because of a few minutes’ pleasure.
13. WEAR COTTON UNDERWEAR
Next time you go shopping for underwear’s, select cotton material. Cotton lets in air to your vagina, yeah they love to breathe, and the cotton material absorbs moisture, keeping you safe and dry.
14. CLEAN PROPERLY AFTER USING THE TOILET
Don’t be in a hurry to run off after using the toilet, the job doesn’t end there, clean your buttocks and vagina properly. The proper way to clean if using tissue, is to wipe from front to back with clean tissue, until there is no residue.
15. USE NATURAL LUBRICANTS
Be mindful of what goes in there, it’s your body and a sensitive part. You shouldn’t allow anything in the name of lubricant. Saliva and lots more. If you must use lubricants during sex, use something natural and hygienic.
